Dutch Fork High School students are back from their two-weeks long winter break. “I spent half of the break with my mom’s side of the family and the other half of the break with my dad’s side,” freshman Trinity Kelly said. Though the best part about being on winter break is Christmas not everything goes as planned.“The best part about break was I got Christmas presents and the worst part was when I got into a car wreck,” sophomore Taylor Perkins said. New Years celebrations thrive as students, teachers, friends, and family members everywhere set goals for themselves for the upcoming year. “[My resolution is] to draw closer to God and don’t stress over little things,” junior Kayla Brown said. Setting goals comes with determination and determination comes with changes, and being willing to change for the better. “I want to teach world history or government again,” social studies  teacher Karen McMillan said, “and I would love to go teach at USC this year.”
