Superstar gets thrown into the slammer

The star that first became famous on youtube and the phenomenon that makes young girls go insane, has been thrown in between bars for his reckless behavior.

19 year old phenomenon, Justin Bieber was charged with DUI, street racing, and an expired license on Thursday morning in Miami Beach, FL.

“I do agree with him getting arrested because even though he’s a superstar I mean that doesn’t give him the right to do what he wants and not suffer the consequences, he needs to suffer them just like everybody else,” said junior Malika Jameson.

Bieber has been on the hollywood scene ever since 2009 when he released his first hits, One Time and Baby. Ever since then he’s grown tremendous publicity, fame, and awards over the past few years.

“I am a fan, I like his music, I love how he started out really good as a young star so he really inspires me, ” said sophomore Briana Stansberry.

With all this publicity and fame, there comes many haters and anti supporters. The music video Baby, is one of the most disliked videos on YouTube.

“No, I mean I don’t really listen to his songs and I just don’t do things like Justin Bieber, I only listen to things like Macklemore, ” said junior Twinkle Loungani.

Some also believe that Bieber isn’t a good influence because of his immature acts and behavior over the past couple of years. Not too long ago, he was accused of egging one of his neighbor’s houses.

“Personally I’m not a fan of Justin Bieber because I don’t find him very influential in a positive way, ” said Malika.

With all these incidents, there’s belief that he’s just going through a stage and will grow out of it.

“I’d like to see him have many more incidents and learning experiences,” Briana said, “but eventually

slowly grow into an adult and realize his mistakes and get back on track.”
